An Activity for Everyone
The Student Life Office works with the Student Activities Committee and Student Leaders to plan events throughout the year. Northwood students from all classes are encouraged to become part of the Student Activities Committee.

Students are encouraged to develop and create additional clubs according to their interests. Faculty are available to serve as club advisors.
Northwood also offers a robust schedule of recreational activities each weekend.
Some popular offerings include, but are not limited to, the following:

Friday night movie bus

Additionally, students may sign out with the Dean of Student’s office to enjoy dinner or shopping in Lake Placid with friends. We also offer weekly “jitney runs” (grocery trips) so that students can pick up snacks or other personal items they need.
