Howard has taught Spanish and English at Northwood, and coached the Crew, since 2005. He rowed on the varsity lightweight crew at Yale and graduated with a B.A. in philosophy. His master’s degree is in film. Before coming to Northwood, he worked as a copy editor and spent four years coaching men’s and women’s crews at the University of Chicago.
