Library
The Northwood School Library is a warm, welcoming place for students, faculty and the entire community – a space for academic studies, relaxation and leisure reading. During the academic day small groups are welcome to use the library & individuals may find a quiet spot for study.
Resources
The Northwood library houses an up-to-date collection of print and electronic materials. We strive to provide a broad selection of materials across a wide range of media. These provide the Northwood community with the necessary resources for research and reading in support of students’ coursework. Northwood library staff members are available to help students with questions about resources available in the library and how best to utilize these tools. Student and staff requests for additional information or new acquisitions are always welcome.
The library is a place of inquiry, curiosity and intellectual pursuit. In addition to helping students find the information needed for projects and/or research, library staff are happy to recommend something of interest to read outside of classes. The library encourages the practice of reading for pleasure by hosting a community-wide book club and discussion featuring titles of interest to both faculty and students.
