Justin Felhaber named as the Head Coach of U16 Hockey Team.

Northwood School is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Felhaber as the Head Coach of its U16 Hockey Team.

Felhaber, a Northwood alum, brings a deep understanding of the school’s hockey tradition and a strong commitment to player development. He has demonstrated a genuine passion for teaching the game and building meaningful relationships with his players—qualities that align closely with the program’s core values. He is eager to build on the program’s strong foundation while putting his own stamp on the team.

I am excited for Justin to take this next step in his coaching journey. As a Northwood graduate and a part of our hockey program for five years, he has proven that he is ready to lead our U16 program. Justin has shown tremendous ability to connect with our players. I am looking forward to working with him and am confident in his approach to development,” said Stephen Mallaro.

Felhaber added, “This is a dream come true for me. As a proud alum, I am grateful for the role that Northwood has played in my development as a student-athlete and as a person, and I hope to give our players the best Northwood experience possible. I am looking forward to carrying on the legacy and culture that many great coaches before me have worked so hard to build.

We are thrilled that Justin will be taking over the U16 program,” said Trevor Gilligan. “He has truly earned this opportunity through his dedication, work ethic, and the relationships he has built with our players. I’m excited to see his continued growth in this new role and confident he will have a meaningful impact on the development and experience of our student-athletes.

Northwood looks forward to the continued success of the U16 team under Felhaber’s leadership.
